I LOVE Dr. Hines. I truly feel cared about and cared for. Dr. Hines lives The Hippocratic Oath. She is the only reason I continue to come to that office. She is the last and only provider I am continuing with Cone Health. I intentionally left Cone Health and transitioned to Duke Health.

I was confused and wondered why I was going to this doctor. I was told the doctor would answer my questions about my planned procedure. I could not tell my family why I was having procedure done. This doctor was OUTSTANDING in how she handled me and got answers to my questions. She explained my procedure and explained why it was necessary based on info from Mychart. She had her office contact the correct doctor office and made my appt to talk with doctor doing procedure. I left her office with a big smile- excellent customer service, knowledgeable of why procedure needed to happen and made my appt to ensure future appt was correct. I really appreciated she didn't brush me off or made me feel invisible

Dr Hines was very professional and her intelligence and manner were impressive. However, I felt like my concerns about my perimenopause symptoms were rushed through and not fully addressed. It also felt like Dr Hines isn't on top of emerging research on menopause; I understand the medical community is slow to change on purpose because guidance is based on controlled trials which take time, but it was frustrating feeling like my own research and questions were dismissed.
