Biography
Jake Talkington, DNP, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a doctor of nursing practice degree. He specializes in urgent care medicine.
Approaching every patient relationship as a collaboration, he treats each person with the same compassion, respect and dedication he would want for his own family. He believes the best care begins with active listening and partnering with patients to develop safe, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect their goals and preferences.
In his spare time, he enjoys watching Duke basketball, traveling and reading.
