I sent Dr. Ellison a message after my appointment because it would be reasonable to wait until I had the cough again to take the prescription, she answered me agreeably.

Dr. Ellison was very professional and knowledgeable. She listened to me and responded to my questions. She Is also very personable and made a telephone video for my daughters to answere their questions.

Dr. Was very professional, great " bedside' manners. Took the time to review chest X-rays with me explaining the actual severity of my COPD ( which turned out to be mild). Discussed the potential benefits of a Breathe Test and we collectively agreed to delay it until physical symptoms appear when I am not suffering from upper respiratory illness. She went on to prescribe a low dose steroid therapy for my current respiratory conditions (after discussing with me the risks v. Rewards. I will definitely recommend her to anyone seeking a Pulmonologist.

I think the doctor was excellent. She listened to my concerns and symptoms and gave recommendations that I feel have helped me a great deal. She explained everything thoroughly and easy to understand.

I saw Dr. Ellison on the advice of a friend's daughter--who is a pharmacist and knows the physicians around Greensboro very well. Dr. Ellison was everything she said--highly intelligent, very sympathetic, and an excellent explainer of: the CT scan which usually looks like incomprehensible clouds to me until her explanation; 2. The biopsy of my lung at Cone and the technicalities how it's done; 3. The possible treatment options if the lung nodule is cancer, depending on stage. Very thorough, upfront and competent. What a doctor she is!

There was only good with Dr. Ellison's visit. She is equally professional and relational because she treats a patient like a person- no matter the age. It may sound like a cliche but seniors need to be people before patients.
