Biography
Janet Rodden, SLP, is a speech-language pathologist. Her specialties include PROMPT training (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets), with interests in treating childhood verbal apraxia and articulation/phonological disorders.
Known for building strong relationships with her patients and their families, Rodden has found her PROMPT training helps her treat more significant phonological/articulation impairments with better outcomes than traditional therapy. She sees every child as a unique individual with unique needs. She feels privileged to experience the journey of improved communication with her patients and their parents.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, running and listening to music.
