Biography
Jason Hansen, MD, is a fellowship trained child and adolescent psychiatrist who sees patients from elementary school through early adulthood. His professional interests include depression, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and trauma-related disorders.
Dr. Hansen strives to help guide patients and families as they navigate relationships, mental health issues, school problems and more. With a holistic approach, he aims to use conservative, evidence-based medicine management where appropriate. Using a biopsychosocial model, he values the role of therapy resources in the healing and treatment process.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, exercising, playing sports and attending sporting events, reading fantasy novels and playing video games.
