Jayashree Ravishankar, MD, MPH, is board certified in infectious diseases and internal medicine. She provides care at Alamance Regional Medical Center and has been part of Cone Health since 2019. Her clinical interests include general infectious diseases, including bacterial and fungal infections, HIV care, and antimicrobial stewardship.
Having practiced medicine in India, the UK, and the U.S., Dr. Ravishankar brings a global perspective to patient care. She was drawn to infectious disease for its investigative nature—piecing together symptoms like a puzzle to find answers and help patients heal. She finds deep satisfaction in seeing patients recover and return to her clinic fully cured. Outside of work, she enjoys purposeful travel, exploring architecture, historic sites, and cultural landmarks.
