Dr. Cook explained options and explained the problem and what surgery would look like, recover time and importance of compliance with weight restriction for hernia. Referral was done quickly and appointment was made. Excellent practice. Will refer family and friends. Front desk staff person was a little stressed with little help from other staff members in what they were suppose to be doing.

I have recommended him to another person who was in great need of a physician, but Dr Cooke isn't taking on any new patients. It is sad when patients in a community lose their primary provider and can't find a new provider to meet their needs. We need to do better as a medical society. Change for those of us in our senior years of life prefer consistency and dislike change tremendously. Dr Cooke is a breath of fresh air for me as a patient; he actually listens to my concerns and needs. We need more providers like him.
