Biography

A specialist in pediatric endocrinology, Jennifer Badik, MD, is board-certified in pediatrics. Her professional interests include pediatric obesity, pre-diabetes, menstrual health and puberty concerns, and transgender health.

Dr. Badik approaches endocrine care holistically, evaluating mood, diet and activity as well as laboratory and imaging results. She believes in partnering with families in the care of their children and takes care to approach her pediatric patients as a coach rather than as a paternalistic figure. Also, she takes the time to truly understand what motivates her patients towards healthy outcomes.

In her free time, she enjoys camping, knitting and crocheting.

“I strive to have a partnership with my patients and my families. I believe in educating patients about their diagnosis so they can be an active participant in their health.” – Jennifer Badik, MD

Dr Badik is amazing. She didn't talk to my daughter like she was a kid. She clearly explained changes that need to be made and why. The education she provided was invaluable.

It was very good as usual

we have requested a transfer to another endocrinologist. the Dr seem more interested in my daughters mental health (which is being addressed separately). She shamelessly plugged her friends novel, did not listen to our questions, treated my highly intelligent child like a 5 year old, made her feel so bad about herself that she was hyperventilating in the restroom. I could go on. frankly we should have walked out but it took 3 weeks to get the appt for her newly diagnosed Hashimotos and we wanted no further delay in treatment.

if I have to recommend the doctor I will do it 100% . we adore the doctor, but the staff need to be trained about how to deal with patients and families

As always, very approachable.

I believe Dr. Badik was a great doctor until she asked me if my daughter was being sexually abused due to her having discharge. As a medical professional myself I thought that question was inappropriate due to the fact that it's only me, my daughter, and her twin brother that is living in the home. Plus young girls who are close to getting their period; this is completely normal. I also did not like how she talked about how her male manager held the phone away from his ear when another parent called in to complain. I believe she should keep her personal opinions to herself and do her job. It is very unethical to gossip and ask questions that are unwarranted in the workplace.

Dr Baddik is amazing. We have been with hear in the past 3 years and we just have good experiences with her. During this past session, she was especially nice to our little one - he was afraid and she went above and beyond to make him comfortable :)
