Biography
Jennifer Mattia, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist. She treats patients who have had strokes or brain injuries and neurodegenerative diseases, such as Parkinson’s Disease and dementia. Her professional interests include aphasia, apraxia, cognitive-linguistic impairments, dysarthria and dysphagia.
She is dedicated to helping individuals maximize independence and improve quality of life through meaningful progress. With over 15 years of experience – across acute, inpatient and outpatient settings – she brings a broad understanding of the patient journey to every stage of recovery. Known for her collaborative, relationship-centered approach, she partners with patients and families to create personalized treatments to build confidence and lasting improvement.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, running and practicing yoga.
