Biography
Jennifer Mattia, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist. She treats patients who have had strokes or brain injuries and neurodegenerative diseases, such as Parkinson’s Disease and dementia. Her professional interests include aphasia, apraxia, cognitive-linguistic impairments, dysarthria and dysphagia.
She is dedicated to helping individuals maximize independence and improve quality of life through meaningful progress. With over 15 years of experience – across acute, inpatient and outpatient settings – she brings a broad understanding of the patient journey to every stage of recovery. Known for her collaborative, relationship-centered approach, she partners with patients and families to create personalized treatments to build confidence and lasting improvement. Jennifer is a Certified SPEAK OUT® Provider.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, running and practicing yoga.
