Biography
Joan Gillis, DMSc, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant with a doctorate of medical science degree. She specializes in pulmonary medicine.
With a background as a respiratory therapist and extensive experience in inpatient care, academia and pulmonary medicine, she takes a whole-patient approach to care. Her clinical philosophy emphasizes open, honest communication and shared decision-making to ensure patients feel informed, respected and actively involved in their health journey.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and fur babies, reading, creating artwork, cooking and traveling.
