John Scott Moody, MD

Biography

Dr. John Moody joined Cone Health our radiation oncology team in 2008 after completing his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Prior to that, he earned an MD-PhD at Vanderbilt University. Moody completed his undergraduate training as a Morehead Scholar at UNC-Chapel Hill, where he served as student body president.

In 2019, Moody was named medical director of Radiation Oncology for Cone Health.

Areas of Interest

Clinical focus areas include brain and spine cancers, lung and thoracic cancers, and breast cancer.
