Joy Jessup, DNP, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a doctorate of nursing practice. She specializes in family medicine.

With 20 years of health care experience, she takes time to understand each patient’s story, discover barriers to care and develop trusting relationships with open communication. She collaborates with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that help them live their best lives.

Joy Jessup is very thorough and knowledgeable. Following my appt., she got my prescription sent to pharmacy, and also lined up connection with the physical therapist to get an appt for my shoulder to be evaluated. This things were handled very quickly.

The nurse practitioner and the doctor were great! I would love to become a new client of hers. The doctor actually genuinely listened to me as well , made me feel comfortable even though I was in a lot of pain and discomfort. Dr Joy has a wonderful bedside manner.

Absolutely great experience! I felt very heard and understood and loved that Joy came up with additional treatment options for me to consider. She made sure I understood how to communicate with her going forward and how easy it would be to change my course of treatment if needed. She was detailed in her explanation of what to expect - even down to the horrible smell of the medicine I'd be taking - and what symptoms to be on the lookout for.
