Biography
Julie Machen, MD, is board certified in internal medicine. Her professional interests include cancer screening, women’s health and medical education.
A Greensboro native, she is committed to providing outstanding, high-value care to the people in her community. She takes time to listen, provide evidence-based options and collaborate on strong care plans.
Working frequently with medical students, she believes teaching makes her better at caring for patients – it keeps her on her toes and up to date on the latest approaches to care.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. In addition to exploring locally, she runs and plays tennis and pickleball.
