Biography
Karen Powell, MS, CGC, is a genetic counselor specializing in hereditary cancer.
She values the relationships she builds with patients and takes time to understand their concerns and perspectives on cancer risk. Through genetic counseling and testing, she helps patients better understand their personal and family history of cancer and provides individualized guidance to support informed decisions about cancer prevention and screening. She believes this approach empowers patients to take a proactive role in managing health risks and gain a greater sense of control.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with family and connecting with friends. Her hobbies include reading and spending time outdoors.
