Kelly Ballie, OTR/L, is a licensed board-certified occupational therapist. She has been with Cone Health since 2004.
Her areas of focus include treating neurological conditions, such as cerebrovascular accident (stroke), traumatic brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, and peripheral nerve injuries. She also specializes in hand therapy, including post-surgery and work-related injuries.
By helping patients regain independence and functionality, Ballie plays a vital role in the recovery process. She believes knowledge is power, so she spends time educating patients and answering their questions. She focuses on each patient’s goals and helps with retraining the body or adaptive strategies.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and dancing.
