Kelly Kinnear, MS, CCC-SLP, is a pediatric speech language pathologist. Her professional interests include augmentative and alternative communication, early intervention, expressive and receptive language delays, and articulation and phonological disorders.
As a pediatric therapist, she collaborates with families and strives to make therapy fun and productive. Her goal is to help children learn how to functionally communicate. She works to find the communication system that is best for each patient, including speech, basic sign language, communicative gestures, low-tech communication boards and high-tech speech generating devices.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, traveling, reading and cooking.
“I love helping my patients learn how to communicate their wants, needs, thoughts and opinions. Helping a child learn how to communicate something for the first time is so rewarding.” – Kelly Kinnear, MS, CCC-SLP
