Dr. Kelly Leggett is a seasoned OB/GYN with Cone Health, where she also serves as Vice President and Chief of Acute Care Services. Her journey into medicine began during her undergraduate years, when volunteering as an EMT with the Orange County Rescue Squad sparked a deep passion for patient care. Realizing she was more energized by her time in the field than in the classroom, she changed course and committed to becoming a physician.
During medical school, Dr. Leggett found her calling in obstetrics and gynecology. She was drawn to the opportunity to care for women throughout their lives—from adolescence to motherhood and beyond. Over her 20 years at Cone Health, she has built lasting relationships with patients, even delivering babies for women she once delivered as newborns.
Her compassionate care and deep commitment to her patients have made her a trusted and beloved presence in the community.
