Biography
Kelly Nelson, MS, CGC, is a genetic counselor specializing in hereditary cancer.
She is passionate about empowering patients to take an active role in their care by listening to their needs and helping them choose a path that aligns with their health goals.
Believing the best decisions come from a collaborative partnership, she combines her expertise in genetics with each person's unique experiences, values and goals while working closely with the broader care team. Recognizing that uncertainty is often part of genetic counseling, she provides compassionate guidance and individualized education to help patients make informed decisions with confidence.
Outside of work, she enjoys baking bread, hiking and spending time with her cats.
