Biography
Board certified in family medicine with fellowship training in obstetrics, Kimberly N. Newton, MD, is dedicated to caring for women, transgender and non-binary patients throughout their lifetimes. She provides comprehensive maternity care, including delivering babies, and has a special interest in breastfeeding, including lactation support, and postpartum care.
Warm, caring and open-minded, she strives to cultivate personable relationships with patients. She believes family physicians have a key role to play in caring for women and children within the community.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, sewing, exploring North Carolina towns, and recharging in the outdoors.
