For two decades, Kris Gellert, OT, OTR/L, C/NDT, has been an occupational therapist. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of patients with neurological pathophysiology, including stroke, brain injury and spinal cord injury. In addition, she is an instructor for the Neuro-Development Treatment Association.
A clinician and educator at heart, she enjoys the opportunity to not only help her patients learn new ways to accomplish skills and activities, but she values helping other clinicians grow professionally. Using a patient-centered approach, she individualizes each treatment plan, puts patients at ease and establishes trusting relationships.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her granddaughter, and friends. Her hobbies include gardening, walking and hiking.
