Biography
Board certified as an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner, Lauren G. Allen, AGNP-C, DNP, also has a doctor of nursing practice degree. She specializes in hematology and oncology.
After growing up in rural Western North Carolina where healthcare resources were limited, she has become passionate about improving access to care. With a background in education, she enjoys teaching patients about managing their conditions and treatments. She empowers her patients to live a healthy lifestyle and promotes lifelong wellness.
She and her husband share a small farm with their horses, rescue dogs, cats and other critters. An active equestrian, she enjoys competing in horse shows.
