Biography
Lawrence Bass, MD, is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. His professional interests include contraception and normal and high-risk obstetrics.
Down to earth and relatable, he takes great care to make sure his patients understand their health issues and treatment plans before they leave the office. Working together with patients, he strives to come up with a safe, effective plan. His preference is to try more measured approaches unless there is an obvious need for surgery.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter. In addition to cheering on the Duke basketball team, he enjoys playing video games, building LEGO sets, collecting comic books and reading science fiction.
