A keen listener and problem solver, she collaborates with patients to target both goals outlined in their plan of care and personal goals with an eye on promoting safety and independence in the home and community. She strives to make her patients feel comfortable and at ease, and she encourages them to ask questions and share concerns about their care.
In her spare time, she enjoys riding and working with her horses, hiking and reading.
“I believe people should have access to quality care geared towards the individual and reflect personal goals for health and well-being. Being in the field of occupational therapy allows me to be a part of helping individuals live as independently as possible and have a greater quality of life through education and practice.” – Leslie Troxler, OTR/L
