Matthew Carlisle, MD, is board certified in cardiac electrophysiology, cardiology and internal medicine. Specializing in cardiology, he has expertise in electrophysiology. I have already recommended Dr. Carlisle to some women friends with Afib because of his keen ability to listen and answer in a clear, concise, helpful way -- even with something as basic as my questions as how and when is best to take Eliquis, which I have not wanted to do. He has taught me the necessity on why I should, in fact, take this drug. Dr. Carlisle has the talent of being collaborative rather than condescending. I feel fortunate to have him for my Afib cardiologist.

Listened to my concerns. This was a new medical issue for me. The doctor was very thoughtful and took time to listen to all my concerns and questions. His explanations of a potential procedure was detailed and explained in a manner that was very good and clear.

Dr Taylor retired the doctor I have took great care to reassure that he would give me the best treatment possible. We talked about something called the Watchman and he gave me his honest opinion on it and we decided that now is not the best time to try that. He gave me positive feedback on everything that was going on and even recommended a small change to my medication to make things better. Overall this is a very positive experience I have been with Cone Heart Health about 8 to 9 years now and would recommend it to anyone.
