Michael J. Hilts, MD, is board certified in primary care sports medicine and family medicine. His professional interests include sports medicine, family medicine, musculoskeletal ultrasound and functional medicine.
Collaborative and caring, he treats patients as he would family members. For patients with medical or orthopedic problems, he strives to determine the root cause of conditions rather than merely treating symptoms. In addition to nutritional, lifestyle and biomechanical factors, he takes time to understand past personal and family history.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters and roasting his own coffee beans. He is actively involved in Bible Study Fellowship.
“From a medical standpoint, I have a strong desire to help patients learn to improve their health and well-being without prescription medicine whenever possible. From an orthopedic standpoint, my goal is to improve or resolve conditions without surgery if possible.” – Michael J. Hilts, MD
