Biography
Board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology, R. Michael Rourk, MD, has been a gastroenterologist in Reidsville for more than 30 years. Currently active on the multiple hospital committees, he has previously served as chief of staff of medicine and chief of staff for Annie Penn Hospital.
Dr. Rourk enjoys the small-town, community-minded atmosphere of Reidsville and Annie Penn Hospital, which enables him to form relationships with his patients.
In his free time, he and his family enjoy the coastal life, especially on Topsail Island. His hobbies include traveling, taking photographs and spending time on the pistol range with friends.
