Rafaela Aguiar, MD, is board certified in family medicine. Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, her multicultural background brings an extra dimension to patient care.

She enjoys establishing long-term relationships with her patients and their families. An advocate concerned about her patients’ improved health, she takes time to evaluate and treat acute and chronic conditions and empowers individuals to make positive changes and choose their own paths toward improved health.

I was seen for very bad stomach pain which I had for several days. Blood work was done, a urine sample taken and a CT scan ordered for the next day. Immediately when the Dr received my CT scan I was called and told to go to the ER right then. I had diverticulitis with a very large abscess in my colon wall. I am so thankful the Dr got me right into the hospital .
