Biography
Rebecca Szer, DO, MA, is a rheumatologist.
She combines her medical expertise with a master’s degree in health advocacy, a rare background that enables her to bridge complex medical care with the human experience of being a patient. She takes pride in listening deeply, advocating for her patients within the health care system and building trusting, collaborative relationships. With compassion and respect at the center of her practice, she focuses on treating the whole person and tailoring care plans to each individual’s values and goals.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, figure skating and watching the New York Islanders.
