Board certified in neurology, clinical neuropathy and sleep medicine, Richard A. Sater, MD, Ph.D., is the director of the Multiple Sclerosis Center at Guilford Neurologic Associates.

Known for actively engaging his patients in the decision-making process, he provides comprehensive care and the latest treatments for patients with multiple sclerosis and other complex neurologic disorders.

Dr. Sater has authored more than 20 articles or chapters regarding immunology, multiple sclerosis and other aspects of neurology. He is a former member of the Healthcare Advisory Board of the National MS Society Carolinas chapter.

Dr. Sater is exceptional sharing explanations about my MS, discussed current progress & educated me on what to expect if relapses related to future treatments possible. He throughly describes my response to Mavenclad encouraging me to notify him of any new symptoms/needs. He listens & has a caring compassionate manner toward his patients! I pray he is always able to practice in the best interest of MS patients, his knowledge is outstanding!

Dr. Sater has been my Neurologist since 2005, and I even followed him to the Cone Hospital' network, for my neurology needs, for his diagnosis of my Multiple Sclerosis. I only see Dr. Sater in the Cone' network.
