Biography
Robert Stretch, MD, is board certified in sleep medicine, critical care medicine, pulmonary medicine and internal medicine.
A sleep medicine specialist, his outpatient practice focuses on diagnosing and treating a wide range of sleep disorders, including sleep-related breathing issues, movement disorders, narcolepsy, idiopathic hypersomnia, and restless legs syndrome. He is drawn to this evolving field because sleep remains under-taught in medical education despite its profound impact on daily function – revealing immense potential to dramatically improve patients’ quality of life.
Using a patient-centered, evidence-based approach to care, he takes the time to educate patients, collaborates with them on informed decision-making and ensures they feel supported in pursuing their health goals.
Outside of work, he enjoys being challenged to learn new things, keeping up with technology and traveling.
