Dr. Ross Kuhner serves as the director of pediatric emergency medicine at Moses Cone Children’s Hospital, where he leads efforts to create a more robust and responsive care environment for children in Greensboro. His fascination with the human body’s complexity led him to medicine, and a pivotal conversation with a mentor helped him discover his true calling in pediatrics. Today, he’s proud of the progress Cone Health has made in advancing children’s services and ensuring families have access to high-quality emergency care close to home.
Outside of work, Dr. Kuhner enjoys DIY projects and can often be found at the hardware store or building cabinetry at home. Whether he’s improving care systems or crafting something by hand, he brings thoughtfulness and precision to everything he does.
