Biography
Rubens Chang, MD is a medical oncologist specializing in genitourinary (GU) cancers, including prostate cancer, bladder cancer and kidney cancer. He is also interested in melanoma.
He is well-versed in using modern cancer treatments like immunotherapy, targeted therapy and chemotherapy. As each cancer is treated differently, he understands the significance of listening to the patient, collaborating with them on shared decision-making and practicing evidence-based medicine. As there is no routine cancer, he formulates individualized treatment plans for each patient.
In his free time, he loves to spend time with his family, travel, hike, attend Greensboro Grasshoppers games and be active in his church.
