Biography
Board-certified in neurology with a special concentration in children, Stephanie Wolfe, MD, MPH, specializes in pediatric neurology with Cone Health pediatric specialists, including as part of the Cone Health Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the developing Pediatric Complex Care Unit. Her professional interests include neurodevelopment, complex care and neuropalliative care.
A former special education teacher and a parent of a child with special needs, she is passionate about helping her patients and their families address challenges compassionately and collaboratively in all areas of their lives, using the best evidence-based treatments. Empathetic, open-minded and collaborative, she strives to address all areas of a child’s functionality and not just their need for medication.
In addition to her roles with Cone Health, she serves as lead pediatric staff physician with KidsPath hospice program and the medical director for Camp Carefree, a camp for children with chronic conditions.
In her spare time, Dr. Wolfe enjoys travel, sewing, home projects and keeping up with her kids.
