Biography
Steven Bokshan, MD, specializes in orthopedic surgery with an emphasis on sports medicine. His professional interests include anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), shoulder instability (dislocation), shoulder replacement, meniscus, rotator cuff, ligament and tendon injuries, along with cartilage and joint preservation of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle. He is also fellowship trained in upper and lower extremity trauma.
Having double fellowship trained in both sports medicine and trauma, he offers a widened scope of care and optimal surgical management. He is educated on the most recent and innovative operative and non-operative treatments to allow patients to enjoy a healthy lifestyle.
In his spare time, he enjoys visiting parks as well as the Greensboro Science Center with his family. His hobbies include golfing, home improvement, and brewing beer.
