Biography
Tara Cole, MD, is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology specializing in gynecology. Her professional interests include the management of abnormal uterine bleeding and pelvic pain, peri- and post-menopausal symptoms and benign gynecologic conditions. She performs minimally invasive, robotic assisted and complex pelvic surgery.
Respectful and caring, she uses a patient-centered approach to individualize care plans through shared decision-making. She takes time to understand her patients’ concerns, communicate clearly and present management options, including risks and benefits. A former high school teacher, she is committed to educating women about their bodies and the physiologic causes of their symptoms to reduce anxiety and support informed choices.
In her spare time, she enjoys travel, the culinary arts, piano and Pilates.
