Biography
Taylor Watkins, MA, CF-SLP, is a speech language pathologist. His professional interests include treating adults with aphasia, dysarthria, cognitive-communication disorders and dysphagia from multiple etiologies, including stroke, brain injury and neurodegenerative disorders. Also, he has a special focus on voice and upper airway disorders, including dysphonia, chronic cough/throat clearing and inducible laryngeal obstruction (ILO).
Using a holistic and eclectic approach to patient care, he builds relationships that are both professional and warm. He fosters trust, understanding and collaboration to help each patient achieve meaningful progress, values connecting with people from all walks of life and finds meaning in hearing patients’ stories, experiences and questions. His background as a musician and vocalist allows him to bring creativity, emotional insight and a deep understanding of the human experience to his work.
In his spare time, he enjoys singing, learning new languages, PC gaming, traveling and spending quality time with his family.
