Biography
Vera Jackson, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
She believes every person deserves compassionate, evidence-based mental health care that promotes dignity, autonomy and recovery.
By listening without judgment, building trust through cultural humility and creating a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard and respected, she empowers individuals to actively participate in their care and healing. Passionate about reducing stigma and advancing health equity, she advocates for marginalized and underserved communities while working to expand access to compassionate mental health care.
Outside of work, she values family time, especially with her grandchildren. Her hobbies include gardening, watching live music, visiting art museums and listening to audiobooks.
