Biography
Dr. Yan Feng specializes in treating breast and gastrointestinal cancers. These are two of the most frequently treated cancers at Cone Health Cancer Center.
She came to Cone Health in November 2015 from Cleveland Ohio, where she worked as a medical oncologist at University Hospital Seidman Cancer Center. She was also a faculty member at Case Western University during that time and was actively involved in basic and clinical research and led several clinical trials as a principle investigator.
Dr. Feng was born and grew up in China. She has been studying or working in the United States since 2000. She had extensive medical research experience at Harvard University before her clinical training in the States. Dr. Feng has published more than 20 peer-reviewed research papers in medical journals. She is highly interested in new developments in cancer treatment, especially in targeted therapy and personalized treatment.
She lives in Greensboro with her husband and two children. Dr. Feng enjoys hiking, biking, swimming and traveling.
