    Planned Giving

A legacy gift made with planning and forethought will provide future funding for healthy communities served by Cone Health as well as provide financial benefits for the donor and/or the donor’s family.

A legacy gift can be an expression of gratitude for exceptional care received or experienced, and given as a commitment today that will provide funding for community health needs in the future.

    Legacy Gifts

Legacy gifts generally come in three different forms:

    Current Gifts

This accordion functions as an accordion on all resolutions. Only one accordion in the group can be open at a time. Add class of "open" to toggle heading to make this accordion open by default instead of closed.

    Estate or Deferred Gifts

These are primarily gifts made through a will. Gifts directed through a life insurance policy or retirement plan are often the simplest and most tax efficient way of making a planned gift. It doesn’t require a witness or an attorney, it doesn’t affect your current income, it’s completely revocable and you can specify designation in percentage amounts. All that is required is a signed beneficiary designation form provided to the custodian of your retirement account or life insurance policy.
