Housing Information

During your affiliation, the best alternative is to stay with family or friends who live within commuting distance. When this is not an option, we are glad to try to help students make other arrangements. We cannot guarantee housing will be available.

For further information, please call your Clinical Education Coordinator as soon as possible:

Rebecca Medendorp Boone, PT, DPT, CCCE
Telephone: 336.832.8120
E-mail: rebecca.medendorp@conehealth.com

Most commonly used options are:

AHEC housing: AHEC housing is on the Moses Cone Hospital campus and fills quickly.  If you want AHEC housing, you must make arrangements well in advance of your clinical.  Visit the  Greensboro AHEC Web site  for more information regarding AHEC housing options.  There are some AHEC apartments located on the Cone Campus and they fill quickly.

Staff-provided housing: Staff members in the Rehab Services Department occasionally are willing to house students in their homes. For $70 per week, accommodations include a private bedroom, a private or shared bathroom, kitchen privileges and use of a washer and dryer. All utilities are included except long distance telephone calls. For a list of options, contact Rebecca.
