At Cone Health Cancer Center at MedCenter Asheboro, cancer care is provided 8 hours a day, 5 days a week by board-certified oncologists/hematologists, advanced practice providers, registered nurses and nurse navigators.
Our team includes Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs), phlebotomists, social workers, Medical Laboratory Technicians, pharmacists, medical secretaries, genetic counselors and registered dietitians, all of whom coordinate care with the oncology staff.

Free Mammograms, Pap Smears & HPV Tests
You may qualify for free cancer screenings and diagnostic tests through the North Carolina Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program (NC BCCCP). You’re eligible if you meet all these criteria:
- You don’t have health insurance.
- You’re age 40-64 (for breast screenings) or 21-64 (for cervical screenings).
- Your household income is at or below 250% of the federal poverty level.
