Services

Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation services are reimbursable by most third-party insurance carriers and Medicaid. A physician’s referral is necessary before an initial evaluation can be performed. 

We see children with diagnoses including:

Physical Therapy

Physical therapy facilitates motor development and function, enhances learning opportunities and eases caregiving.

We provide physical therapy treatments and services including:

  • Stretching and strengthening
  • Gait and balance training
  • Functional skills training
  • Fitness and conditioning
  • Consultation and training for wheelchair use
  • Fitting and training for orthotics and adaptive equipment
  • Therapuetic taping (Kinesiotape)
  • Electrical stimulation

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps children acquire the skills needed to perform activities of daily living and to maximize their potential for a bright and productive future.

Occupational therapy may be beneficial for children who have:

  • Problems with fine or gross motor coordination
  • Difficulty with self-care tasks such as feeding and dressing
  • Upper or lower extremity weakness
  • Handwriting issues
  • High or low activity levels or attention deficits
  • Difficulty with social interactions
  • Over- or under-responsiveness to sensory input

Speech Therapy
