With a focus on exceptional, compassionate care, our state-of-the-art, 175-bed private-room hospital provides comprehensive health services in the heart of our community.

Since 1917, when Wesley Long Hospital opened as a 20-bed clinic, we have stayed true to the vision of our founder, the late Dr. John Wesley Long. A nationally known physician and surgeon, Wesley Long believed in offering exceptional, community-based care to his patients.

Visiting hours are from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Before visiting, please review location-specific visitor guidelines here.

Parking, Valet and Public Transportation / Shuttle Service

Patients and visitors to Wesley Long Hospital are offered several free parking and related services.

Valet

Our complimentary valet parking for patients and guests is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for the Cancer Center entrance and 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Wesley Long Hospital main entrance. Vehicle drop-off service ends at 5:30 p.m. Tipping is not required.  Valet service is closed on major federal holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. 

Parking & Shuttle Service

Parking is quick and easy at Wesley Long Hospital. To assist visitors to and from their vehicles, we offer free shuttle services Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Public Transportation

A variety of public transportation options are available for patients and visitors to access Wesley Long.

The Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART) provides service from Randolph County into to Wesley Long on Route 10 Randolph County Express.

The Greensboro Transit Authority (GTA) provides service within the City of Greensboro on Route 7.

Dining Options

Several food and beverage options are offered to visitors of Wesley Long Hospital and Cone Health Cancer Center.

Cafeteria

Located in the basement of Wesley Long Hospital, our full-service cafeteria offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week. The cafeteria offers:

• Vegetarian options
• Soup bar
• Lunch demonstration cooking station
• Ready-made salads and sandwiches
• Snacks

Subway Cafe

For visitors on the go, Wesley Long Hospital offers Subway Café on the main level on the hallway linking to the Cancer Center. The menu includes:

• Breakfast options
• Baked goods
• Specialty hot and cold coffee drinks

In-Room Guest Meals

We deliver guest meals to the room at your request for $6.00. Please call 336-832-6368 to discuss this option. Please review your in-room menu for more information about meal times and meal choices.

Gift Shop

Wesley Long Hospital’s The Ivy Gift Shoppe is located in the main lobby on the first floor of the hospital. The gift shop is managed by the Wesley Long Hospital Volunteer Board and is mainly staffed by volunteers.

Spiritual Care Services

At Wesley Long Hospital and Cone Health Cancer Center, we are pleased to offer our patients and their families spiritual support services. Our chaplains are clinically trained, licensed or ordained, and professionally trained in theology. They represent a variety of perspectives, including guidance for individuals without a religious preference. We also work closely with community faith providers.

Whether you are seeking emotional support, spiritual counsel, prayer or a sacrament, you and your family are welcome to contact us through the Department for Spiritual Care and Wholeness.
