Group Exercise Classes
Sagewell Health & Fitness Group Exercise classes are designed to help you achieve your prescribed fitness and wellness goals. An exercise specialist will be happy to review your file and recommend classes that may help you. No prior group exercise experience is necessary for participation. We offer more than 30 innovative group exercise classes per week for members of all ages and fitness levels. All classes, including cardio, strength, mind body, aquatics and cycling, are included in the Sagewell membership.
Barre: A workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and pilates. Barre classes focus on the lower body and core, developing strength and flexibility from the ankles up through the calves, knees, thighs, glutes and abdominals. Good for intermediate exercisers.
Chair Yoga: Do you like the idea of yoga, but you are unsure about getting to and from the floor? No worries! We’ve got you covered with this yoga class that is centered all around the use of a chair. Good for beginner exercisers.
Circuit Training: Looking for a workout that incorporates a little bit of everything? Join us for circuit training where you’ll use weights, bands, your bodyweight and more to get a well-rounded, full body strength and cardio experience! Low and high impact options available in each class. Best for intermediate to advanced exercisers.
Cycle: Get your heart, lungs, and legs pumping in this indoor stationary cycle class! Work your way through flat roads, hills, sprints, and intervals accompanied by upbeat music and instructor encouragement! Best for intermediate to advanced exercisers.
Cycle + Strength: Strengthen your legs through hills and intervals, and strengthen your entire body through the use of dumbbells, bands, and more! This class puts the full body workout in your traditional cycle class. Best for intermediate to advanced exercisers.
Low Impact: Think of it as a modern day step-aerobics class! Using steps, dumbbells, bands and your body weight, you will get a full-body strength training workout; while elevating your heart rate. Did we mention? All exercises are low impact and safe on your joints! Beginner to Intermediate.
Pilates: Strengthen and develop the superficial and deep muscles in your body through this workout. This class of repetitive exercises combines strength, flexibility, and stability. Intermediate level, with beginner level options per the instructor.
Silver Fit: This class specifically designed for older adults will keep your body and your mind active and engaged! Includes low-impact cardio warm-up, strength, balance, core and flexibility training.
Total Body Strength: In this 45-minute strength training class you will learn safe and effective techniques from our experienced instructors while challenging your muscles. Using your bodyweight along with additional fitness equipment, train to be stronger! Good for all Levels!
Yoga Basic: Foundational yoga postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. Enjoy the simplicity, repetition and ease of movement.
Yoga Flow: Enjoy a blend of relaxation and body stretching. In this yoga class, designed to awaken and reinvigorate you body, muscles and mind! Good for all levels!
Yoga HIIT: A blend of yoga practice + high intensity interval training, this intermediate level class gives you the best of both worlds! Best for intermediate to advanced exercisers.
Zumba: A workout dance party! Elevate you heart rate, work your muscles, all while having FUN! Great for all levels
