Alamance Regional Invites Women to Get Their Pink On


Alamance Regional Medical Center invites women and girls to Get Your Pink On, a fun event promoting breast cancer education. Get Your Pink On is Saturday, Oct. 19, from 9:15 a.m. to noon at the Mebane Arts Center, 633 Corregidor Dr. 

Get Your Pink On features fun activities for women and girls ages 9 and up including Zumba®, belly dancing, the wobble, a twist contest, face painting, a photo booth, pink bracelet making and a performance by the Karizma Dance Team. There will also be chances to win door prizes, including gift cards from Alamance Crossing and Tanger Outlets.

Experts from Alamance Regional’s Norville Breast Care Center will answer questions about one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers in Alamance County. Other participants include Walgreens, Healthsource of Burlington, CARE Plastic Surgery, Myriad, Ultimate Martial Arts, Zumba with Terry G., Mebane United Methodist Women and Williams Medical Equipment.

The $5 admission fee benefits the Alamance Regional Charitable Foundation’s Pink Ribbon Fund.
