Cone Health Names Debbie Grant Vice President of Nursing Practice, Education and Community Integration

Debbie Grant, RN, has been named vice president of nursing practice, education and community integration for Cone Health. Grant will work with doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers and educators to standardize the level and quality of care that people receive across Cone Health as well as the community.

“The future of healthcare depends on all of us working together. That Debbir Grantmeans high-quality, seamless care whether you are at a doctor’s office or receiving care from a home health nurse after leaving the hospital,” says Cone Health Executive Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer Theresa Brodrick, PhD, RN. “Debbie is perfectly suited to building the partnerships needed to ensure the highest possible healthcare across Cone Health and throughout our community.”

Grant has held many roles with Cone Health since 1983. Most recently she was vice president of nursing/patient services at The Moses H Cone Memorial Hospital. She was instrumental in providing nursing leadership in the design and implementation of the North Tower expansion. Grant has also worked with teams leading major improvements in patient quality projects – decreasing hospital associated infections by more than 50 percent and improving patient satisfaction scores for Moses Cone Hospital.

“Great healthcare takes a team. And this is a great opportunity to work with community members to design the best healthcare team anywhere,” says Grant.
