Williams Promoted to Vice President of Nursing at Wesley Long Hospital


Youland Williams, RN, has been promoted to vice president of nursing for Wesley Long Hospital.

“Youland is a strong leader and great addition to the Wesley Long Hospital team. Her passion for patients will only elevate the excellent care we provide,” says Wesley Long Hospital President and Cone Health Chief Inclusion Officer Paul Jeffrey.   

With more than 20 years of leadership experience, Williams has broad knowledge of both the technical and the human sides of nursing. She has ledYouland Williams, VP Nursing at Wesley Long Hospital efforts at Cone Health to set standards and measure nursing excellence. During her most recent experience as executive director of nursing at the Cone Health Cancer Center, employee turnover was substantially reduced.

Williams earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University and her Master of Science degree in nursing administration at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is a Certified Nurse Executive through the American Nurses Association and is a former North Carolina Great 100 recipient.

Williams is a board member of Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro and serves on its Human Resources Committee.
