Cone Health Launches Website for Moms-to-Be
Cone Health takes the guess work out of what to bring to the hospital or how to get a birth certificate when it comes time for that visit with the stork. Women’s Hospital has launched a new website to help pregnant women prepare for their new arrival.
The site is ConeHealthyBaby.com. There, the mother-to-be can fill out admission forms, get a head start on the worksheet used to get a birth certificate and even download a check list to make sure you don’t forget anything on delivery day.
“Women’s Hospital is all about making the birth of a baby the most joyous experience possible,” says Women’s Hospital President Cindy Farrand. “Women have questions: what forms do I need to fill out? What classes should I take? ConeHealthyBaby.com can help the mom-to-be enjoy the experience.”
The website has three areas:
- Your Pregnancy features information on classes, forms and other steps to take before going to the hospital.
- Your Stay, which contains information on lab tests, breastfeeding and what to expect at the hospital.
- Your New Baby, which provides information about your newborn.
"The site is also optimized for mobile use," says Farrand. "This way the expectant mom can use a tablet or smart phone to access the information."
While ConeHealthyBaby.com is designed for women using Women’s Hospital for the delivery of their baby, much of the information is useful for women no matter where they plan to meet the stork.
