Cone Health Names Enterprise Portfolio and Cultural Transformation Leaders

Kiva Elliott has been named director of the Cone Health Enterprise Portfolio Management Office. In this newly created role, Elliott will help the organization prioritize and select projects that are linked to its strategy and provide education and mentoring to project management professionals.

Elliott has been the manager for organizational change since 2011. She Kiva Elliottprovided consultation and strategic leadership in areas requiring significant change including Epic electronic medical records implementation and upgrades and the installation of Office 365.

Prior to joining Cone Health, Elliott served in leadership roles at Guilford Technical Community College and American Express. She received her Master of Science in Adult Education and Organizational Development degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a bachelor’s degree from Winston-Salem State University. Elliott is a breakthrough master, a certified management coach and has a certificate in project management leadership.

Melissa Riffe-Guyer has been named manager of cultural transformation. Riffe-Guyer will ensure continued focus on culture work and will partner with employees, providers and patients to develop and maintain systems, structures and processes that ensure Cone Health’s value-driven culture keeps its patients first philosophy.

Riffe-Guyer has served as senior patient experience manager since 2012. A speech-language pathologist, Riffe-Guyer received her Master of Health Care Administration degree from Pfeiffer University, a Master of Arts degree from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from Radford University. Riffe-Guyer is a breakthrough master, a certified management coach and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
