Riccardi Named Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer at Cone Health
Frank Riccardi, J.D., has been named vice president, chief compliance and privacy officer for Cone Health. Riccardi will work to ensure that Cone Health remains in compliance with Medicare and Medicaid requirements as well as federal regulations that mandate privacy of patient health information.
Riccardi has more than 17 years of experience managing the privacy and compliance programs of physician offices, managed care companies and hospitals. He comes to Cone Health from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) where he was chief compliance and privacy officer for VCU Health System in Richmond.
Riccardi is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in clinical laboratory services at the State University of New York in Stony Brook. He earned his law degree at Western New England College School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Riccardi is certified by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners as a fraud examiner; in internal controls auditing by the Institute for Internal Controls; in health care risk management by the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management; and by the Compliance Certification Board in healthcare compliance.
